Create the master asset schedule
List every domain, website, code repository, cloud service, account, content library, database, trademark, contract, social property and physical asset included in the deal.
Plan identity and access changes
Move ownership first, then rotate credentials, API keys, recovery methods and two-factor authentication. Avoid sharing master credentials in unsecured documents.
Use Flippa itself to verify current listings, pricing and platform details.
Transfer customer-facing systems
Coordinate billing, payment processors, email systems, support tools, CRM, app stores and marketplaces. Some providers require new accounts or approval rather than a direct ownership transfer.
Transfer data lawfully
Customer and employee data can be subject to privacy and contractual restrictions. Confirm what the transaction documents and applicable law permit before moving data between entities.
Schedule communications
Decide which customers, vendors, contractors or partners need notice, when they should receive it and who will answer questions.
Keep a closing record
Both sides should sign off on completed transfers, outstanding items and post-close support responsibilities. Preserve evidence of domain, repository and account-control changes.
