Flippa does not have one universal seller price. The platform currently combines an upfront listing package with a success fee when a sale closes, and both can vary by asking price and service level.
Seller costs
1. Listing package
Lower-value self-service listings currently start at $29. Flippa also offers higher-visibility packages and broker-led options at higher upfront prices. Package availability changes as the selected asking price changes.
2. Success fee
Flippa states that success fees start from 5%. The applicable percentage depends on the transaction tier, so “5%” should be read as a starting point rather than a universal rate.
3. Optional service level
Seller packages can add reach, confidentiality features, relationship-manager support or brokerage services. Compare what you actually need rather than automatically choosing the highest tier.
Buyer costs
Free buyer access is available. Flippa Premium is currently $49 per month and adds features such as earlier deal access, instant NDA approval on supported deals, verified-performance access and transaction benchmarks. A yearly option is advertised at a discount relative to month-to-month pricing.
How to compare Flippa's cost fairly
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| What is my realistic asking price? | Flippa changes packages and fees by price tier. |
| Do I need brokerage-level support? | A self-service listing and broker-led sale are economically different products. |
| How confidential must the sale be? | Some listing tiers add NDA/confidentiality and visibility features. |
| What would a curated broker charge? | Compare total expected fee, not only Flippa’s upfront listing price. |
For example, Empire Flippers currently charges no listing fee but uses a minimum commission and blended percentage structure. Acquire.com currently charges a monthly seller listing fee plus a 6–8% closing fee depending on asking price. Those structures can lead to different outcomes at different deal sizes.
