Prepare product metrics

Document active users, retention cohorts, conversion, subscription behavior, ratings and support volume. Separate downloads from meaningful engagement.

Make the codebase transferable

Organize repositories, build instructions, credentials, dependency lists, release procedures and technical-debt notes. Remove unnecessary personal ownership from infrastructure where appropriate.

Check store and platform rules

Confirm the transfer process for developer accounts or individual apps, policy history and any unresolved review issues. Platform continuity can be a closing condition.

Document support and roadmap

Show bug volume, customer support, compatibility work and planned features. Distinguish essential maintenance from optional growth ideas.

Plan the handoff

Create a transfer checklist for source code, store listings, domains, analytics, billing systems, support tools and customer data, with professional advice where required.
